ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) The writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from establishing a TASMAC liquor vending shop at Appachi Thottam, Annaipalayam, Tiruppur. In this regard, a representation has been made by the petitioner on 02.10.2021 to the respondents 2 and 4.

2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the TASMAC submitted that earlier a proposal was made for establishing liquor vending shop at the location referred to by the petitioner, however, on the representation made by the petitioner, the matter is pending consideration before the District Collector, Tiruppur.

3. In view of the statement aforesaid, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the District Collector, Tiruppur to carefully consider the representation dated 02.10.2021 made by the petitioner and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with the Rules applicable in that regard.
