ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue LE-5 License for the Retail Sale of Explosive / Crackers to the petitioner for the building in Survey No.421-3A2A situated in Door No.141, Kumarasamy Building, Erukattacherry Village & Post, Tharangampadi Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District, by processing the petitioner application dated 15.02.2024, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that, he is a daily wage worker and an agricultural labour. He has planned to start a full time cracker retail Page No.2 of 6
shop, for which, he made an application dated 15.02.2024 before the 1st respondent to issue LE-5 License for the Retail Sale of Explosive / Crackers at No.141, Erukattacherry Village & Post, Tharangampadi Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District. However, the said application was not considered by the 1st respondent till date. Therefore, left with no other alternative, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition before this court for appropriate orders.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 15.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that petitioner's application 15.02.2024 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed, as expeditiously as possible.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 15.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
