ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- (The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.09.2021 for the offences under Sections 354A, 509, 506(1) of IPC and Section 66E and 67 of IT Act, in Crime No.16 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant who is a divorcee was doing modelling in a television channel and she had friendship with the petitioner. While so, in the year 2019, the petitioner invited the defacto complainant to his house stating that he was not well and when the defacto complainant went to his house, the petitioner gave her juice mixed with intoxicated substance and when she fell unconscious, he took obscene photographs of her and latter demanded money from her by threatening her stating if she refuses to comply with his demand, he would post her photographs in the social media. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and the defacto complainant were living together from the year 2017 and now the defacto complainant has lodged a false complaint against the petitioner with ill motive. He would further submit that the petitioner has been suffering incarceration for 75 days from 22.09.2021. Hence, he would pray for grant of bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned government Advocate (Crl. Side) would raise strong objection stating that the petitioner took obscene photographs of the defacto complainant and demanded money from her by threatening her stating if she refuses to comply with his demand, he would post her photographs in the social media.
5.On seeing the grave nature of allegation and that the investigation has not been completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
