This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioners in the name of investigation in connection with Crime No.96 of 2021 on the file of the respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant, a case in Crime No.96 of 2021 has been registered as against the petitioners for the offences under Sections 420, 482, 483, 63(a) of IPC and under the guise of enquiry, the respondent police is harassing the petitioners.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police submitted that in this case, the investigation is under progress and the respondent police is not harassing the petitioners.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent police. 2/4

5. Admittedly, FIR has been registered in this case. Once FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
