This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in C.C.No.302 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambathur, Chennai.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there was no representation either on behalf of the petitioners or on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3.

3. Mr.S.Vinoth Kumar, learned counsel appearing for Public Prosecutor for the first respondent submitted that out of eight witnesses, seven witnesses have been examined. 4.In such a view of the matter, this Court is of the view that as the evidence is almost completed before the Trial Court, the Trial Court has to appreciate the evidence and find out whether the evidence constitute any of the offences. Hence, this Court is not inclined to quash C.C.No.302 of 2016, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambathur, Chennai.

5. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioners to raise all their defense before the Trial Court. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
