O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the respondent to register a case pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 04.02.2016. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent on 04.02.2016. Even though C.S.R.No.27 of 2016 has been assigned, the respondent has not shown any interest to enquire the matter and register the case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief. 3.At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that after receipt of the petitioner's complaint, C.S.R.No.27 of 2016 has been assigned. Both the parties were entered into a compromise and the complaint has been closed. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of the petition.

4.Considering the rival submissions made on both sides, even though the petitioner has stated that he was assaulted by so many persons with wooden log, no A.R. copy was produced. Further, the petition enquiry has already been conducted and closed. Under such circumstances, I do not find any merits in the petition. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
