Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to survey and measure the property of the petitioner in Old S.No.107/2-54 cents out of 1.22 acres New S.No.244/7 situate at Nadukuppam Village, Marakanam taluk, Villupuram District and thereby direct them to furnish a copy of the measured survey plan to the petitioner.

Heard Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Senthilvel, Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel for both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner's grievance is that his property has not been measured and surveyed, inspite of appropriate direction issued by the first respondent/Sub Collector, Tindivanam, to the second respondent, vide his communication dated 02.06.2015, wherein he has issued a direction to the Tahsildar, Marakanam, to treat the matter as very urgent.

3. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the second respondent to take into consideration the petitioner's request to survey and measure his property and proceed in accordance with law, after notice to all concerned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and take appropriate action within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
