time bound manner and to further ensure that the 2nd and 4th respondents will keep the side road and sidewalks from any such further encroachments.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Though prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to the respondents to take appropriate action for removal of encroachment, we find that steps in this direction have already been taken by issuance of memo on 04.07.2025 by the Chief Executive Officer, St.Thomas Mount cum Pallavaram Cantonment Board, to the Joint Commissioner of Police, St.Thomas Mount, Chennai 16.
2. This petition has been filed on 18.07.2025. We are satisfied that since proceedings have already been initiated, it is not necessary for this Court to issue further direction in the matter. This petition need not be kept pending. Petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
