ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- (The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.11.2021 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 353, 506(ii), 307 read with Section 3 of T.N. Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992, in Crime No.1381 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 13.11.2021 at about 8.30 p.m., the police officials made a search at the place of the petitioner who is a kingpin in selling illegal lotteries. At that time, the petitioner abused them and tried to attack them and also caused damages to the police vehicle. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner has been suffering incarceration for 25 days from 13.11.2021. Hence, he would pray for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would raise strong objection stating that the petitioner has got 13 previous cases and there is a proposal for Goondas against him.

5.On seeing the antecedents of the petitioner and the fact that there is a proposal for Goondas against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
