This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction direct the respondent to give police protection to the petitioner for putting up construction in the property located at Plot No.18 in survey No.9/6, Ram Nagar South Extension, Pallikkaranai Village, currently Sholinganallur Taluk (earlier Tambaram Taluk), Kancheepuram District.

2. The petitioner seeks police protection for constructing of residential terrace building in a peaceful and profitable manner. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. 3. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
