ORDER

Heard Mr.Maithreyi Kasthurirangan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Abdul Hameed, learned Senior Counsel for Ms.S.Mekhala, learned counsel for the respondent. The petitioner is present.

2. The parties have negotiated an amicable settlement and a Demand Draft bearing No.635970, Indian Bank (Cuddalore Main), for a sum of Rs.47,86,421/- has been handed over to the petitioner today. The receipt of the same has also been acknowledged by the Petitioner who is present in person today. The aforesaid amount is full and final settlement of all claims.

3. Recording the above payment, this Original Petition is dismissed as the parties have finally settled all their claims and there are no mutual claims against each other.
