Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2023 and comply with the genuine request made therein within a specified period to be stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.11.2023 and pass final orders.

2. According to the petitioner, the patta Nos. 3826 and 3895 in respect of the properties situated at No.49, Pappankuppam Revenue Village, Gummidipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District stands in the name of Kusal Reddy who is the petitioner's paternal uncle. After the death of Kusal Reddy, the patta was transfered behind the back of the petitioner in the name of another uncle Sagadeva Reddy, though the petitioner entitled to half share in the properties covered by Patta Nos.3826 and 3895. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.11.2023, seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of Sagadeva Reddy and others and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the first respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on its own merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.11.2023 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the second respondent and other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
