The petition is filed to appoint a suitable officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police for further investigation in Crime No.98 of 2014 in S.C.No.263 of 2015 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Villupuram. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.It is seen that the third respondent conducted enquiry and filed a final report and same has been taken cognizance in S.C.No.263 of 2015 for the offence under Section 436 of IPC as against the accused persons. Now, the prosecution examined all the witnesses and posted for evidence of the investigation officer.

3.Today, the case is posted and Investigation Officer is not present and therefore, it is adjourned to 26.02.2019 for examination of investigating officer. At this stage, further investigation cannot be ordered in this case, since the entire trial is almost over in S.C.No.263 of 2015.

4.Therefore, this petition is dismissed.
