Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to give connection for incoming/ out going calls to the above land line phone connection No.2435984 at No.50-A, Chamiers Road, Chennai 600 028, expeditiously and consequently, waive the amount of Rs.1,283/- charged from the month of April 2016 to July 2016 and to be charged till the date of giving connection to the above said land line as the phone has been disconnected during this period.

Heard Mr.R.Jagadeesan, learned counsel is appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Y.Bhuvanesh Kumar, learned Standing Counsel, appearing for the respondents and with the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the respondents to give connection for incoming/ out going calls to the above land line phone connection No.2435984 at No.50-A, Chamiers Road, Chennai 600 028, expeditiously and consequently, waive the amount of Rs.1,283/- charged from the month of April 2016 to July 2016 and to be charged till the date of giving connection to the above said land line as the phone has been disconnected during the said period.

3.Admittedly, after the representation given by the petitioner, the petitioner's counsel sent a legal notice, for which the respondents sent a detailed reply on 12.07.2016. Therefore, the petitioner has to challenge the said reply, before the appropriate forum and the Act provides for remedy of Arbitration, which the petitioner is entitled to invoke. The Writ Petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
