This petition is filed by the petitioner/accused to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.1391 of 2011 pending on the file of the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai. 2.Today, both the petitioner and the second respondent along with their respective counsel are present and their identification is verified by this Court. The second respondent/defacto complainant has filed an affidavit dated 17.03.2016 stating that he has no objection to quash the proceedings in CC.No.1391 of 2011, pending on the file of the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, on the basis of the settlement arrived at between the parties. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Recording the affidavit filed by the defacto complainant and the submission so made by him, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in CC.No.1391 of 2011 on the file of the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai is hereby quashed.
