The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 294(A) of IPC r/w Section 7(3) of Lotteries Regulation Act 1998 in Crime No.369 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were sold banned lottery tickets. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would submit that the petitioner has nothing to do with the alleged offence and hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. vkr the petitioner has four previous cases as against him. Hence he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and submissions of the learned Counsel on either side and the previous antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
