PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the first respondent to change the investigation agency like CBCID or some other equallent agency in Crime No.850 of 2017 dated 30.04.2017 for an offence under Section 174 of CR.P.C.

O R D E R

The prayer in the present petition is to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of Crime No.850 of 2017 to change the investigation agency like CBCID or some other equallent agency in Crime No.850 of 2017 dated 30.04.2017 for an offence under Section 174 of CR.P.C.

2. The ground on which the present petition has been filed that the respondent police have not acted upon the petitioner's complaint expeditiously. Since the FIR was registered on 30.04.2017, it would be appropriate that the respondent police may be directed to complete the investigation expeditiously. If the investigation is completed, the petitioner may not have any grievance against the present investigating police officer.

3. In view of the same, there shall be an direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.850 of 2017 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible.

4. With this observations, the criminal original petition stands disposed of.
