Respondents Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to incorporate the family members of the petitioner, 1. Tmt.M.Gomathi, his wife, 2. Mrs.S. Muthulakshmi, his mother and M.Janani, his daughter in the service register as the dependants of the petitioner and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to include his wife Tmt. M.Gomathi in the pension order PPO No.VPM2686.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to incorporate the family members of the petitioner viz., a) Tmt.M.Gomathi, the employee's Wife, b) S. Muthulakshmi, the employee's Mother and c) M.Janani, the employee's daughter in the service register as the dependants of the petitioner and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to include the petitioner's wife M.Gomathi in the petitioner's pension order viz., PPO No.VPM2686.

2. The matter came up for admission on 10.10.2022 before this Court. The learned Standing counsel accepted notice on behalf of the respondents and on that date, he sought time to get instructions with regard to the petitioner's grievance.

3. Today, the learned Standing counsel for the 1st respondent on instructions would submit that the 2nd respondent will include the petitioner's wife Tmt. M.Gomathi in the Pension order viz., PPO No.VPM2686 as the same was inadvertently left out earlier. The said undertaking given by the respondents is recorded.

4. After recording the said undertaking, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to include the name of the 2/4

petitioner's wife Tmt. M.Gomathi in the petitioner's pension order PPO No.VPM2686, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
