Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner's daughter A.Arunthamizh to register herself in the University to facilitate to join Bachelor Degree Course for Agriculture, in management quota for the academic year 2023-2024 in any of the colleges affiliated under the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University Coimbatore based on the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 29.07.2023. ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks herself to be registered by the Agricultural University to enable her to aim for management quota for B.Sc., Agriculture for the academic year 2023-2024.
2. Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for Tamil Nadu Agricultural 2/5
University, the respondents 3 and 4 herein, made a statement on instructions that the entire process for online registration for admission in Agricultural University was concluded as early as 30.06.2023, and since, the petitioner has not even registered herself, her request cannot be considered.

When the counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has given her representation for the same, this Court reminds the petitioner when all administration process for all the professional courses are by online, the petitioner seems to live in a world of her own. There is a procedure contemplated, and that cannot be deviated from for an individual. And if the request of the petitioner were to be considered, then it would imply that the petitioner is a preferred litigant, and this Court does not inclined to grant any litigant any preference or privilege.
4. The petitioner has come several steps too late and hence, this Court may not be able to accommodate the petitioner's request. Hence, this petition is dismissed. No costs.
