When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioner as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. They also produced their identity proofs before this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent and the second respondent appears in-person.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending proceedings in C.C.No.105 of 2017 on the file of the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumpudur, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Kancheepuram District, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioners have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the de-facto complainant has also filed a compromise affidavit dated 16.09.2019 stating that he has no objection if the proceedings in C.C.No.105 of 2017 on the file of the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumpudur, Kancheepuram District is quashed. 4.Recording the statements made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by him dated 16.09.2019, the entire proceedings in C.C.No.105 of 2017 on the file of the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumpudur, Kancheepuram District is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
