PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to Survey and demarcate the petitioner's boundary in plot bearing no. 10 in Survey no. 143/3, Town Survey no. 2/48 and old Survey No. 143/3A 1A in Sekkadu Village in Avadi taluk as per the sale deed for the Petitioner's in D.No. 11013 of 2023 as per the representation dated 19.04.2024. The petitioners herein seek a direction to 2nd respondent to survey and demarcate their property in Survey No. 145/3, Town Survey no. 2/48 situated at Plot.No.10, 3rd cross street, 1st Main Road, Gopalapuram, Pattabiram, Chennai.

2. According to the petitioners, the 1st petitioner submitted an application for survey of the above mentioned land and paid necessary charges for survey as seen from the E-Challan produced in the typed set of papers. Since the respondent have not considered the representation of the petitioners for survey, they are before this Court.

3. Mr.RA.Gopinath, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the 1st respondent and Mr.S.J.Sathik Mohamed, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the 2nd respondent.

4. The learned Government Advocate, who is taking notice for the 2nd 2/4

respondent, submitted that the representation of the petitioners dated 19.04.2024 will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the said position, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 19.04.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing necessary notice to all the interested parties including 3rd respondent.
