O R D E R

By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider the Petitioner's Representation dated 19.06.2025 and consequently direct the Respondents to confer time bound promotion to the petitioner as Senior Assistant Engineerw.e.f.01.10.2007 with arrears and monetary benefits by giving effect to G.O.Ms.No.13 Transport (C1) Department dated 14.01.2000 in the light of the order made in W.A.No.1100/2024 dated 12.07.2024.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials 2/6

available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has joined in the services of the Respondents-Transport Corporation in the year 1994 as Company Trainee and the petitioner's service were regularised as Junior Engineer with effect from 01.10.1995 and thereafter, he was promoted to the post of Assistant Engineer on 01.05.2005. It is the submission of the petitioner that the 1st respondent, vide Government Order in G.O.(Ms).No.13, Transport (C1) Department, dated 14.01.2000 ordered to be given the time bound promotions, but the same was not given to the petitioner. It is the submission of the petitioner that the petitioner is entitled for a time bound promotion in view of the judgment passed by this Court in W.A.No.1100 of 2024, dated 12.07.2024. Therefore, claiming time bound promotion, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 19.06.2025 and the same is pending before the respondents.

5. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 would submit that against the judgment in W.A.No.1100 of 2024, they have filed a review application in Review Application No.22 of 3/6

2025 and the same is pending and subject to the outcome of the review application only, they would consider the petitioner's representation.

6. From the submissions of either side, it is apparent that the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2025 is yet to be considered by the respondents.

In view of the above position, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 17.07.2025 (2/3) Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order dm 4/6
