PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondent Police not to harass these petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass these petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that under the pretext of enquiry, the respondent police is unnecessarily harassing these petitioners.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police on instructions submitted that on the complaint given by one Rajendran, enquiry has been conducted and C.No.G3/4343/496 of 2022 is pending. This Court vide order dated 02.09.2022 in Crl.OP.No.20975 of 2022 directed to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks, hence the respondent police issued summon to the petitioners and after receiving the same the petitioners did not appear.

4. At this juncture the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are ready to appear for enquiry.

5. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is hereby directed to conduct the

enquiry upon the complaint given by Rajendran in accordance with law without harassing these petitioners and the petitioners are also directed to co-operate with the enquiry.

6. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
