O R D E R

This petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS, pleased to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's resident employees residing at Ponneri Taluk, Orakkadu Village, comprised in S.Nos.26/2, 26/3 and 26/4 as per the representation dated 09.08.2024 and 16.08.2024 and pass orders.

2. In view of the interim order, the concerned jurisdiction police are providing adequate police protection to the petitioner to run the factory of the petitioner. That apart, the patta issued in favour of the petitioner was cancelled by the revenue proceedings and it is under challenge before this Court in W.P.No.22008 of 2024 and obtained interim order.

3. In view of the above, till the disposal of the revenue proceedings and other proceedings, the jurisdiction police are directed to provide adequate

police protection to petitioner and to ensure the operation of the factory against any interference by the villagers.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. However, it is made clear that if any complaint lodged by the petitioner, the jurisdiction police is directed to take appropriate action on the complaint in the manner known to law.
