This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the proceedings pertaining to the F.I.R in Crime No.481 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent Police for the offences under Sections 498(A), 494, 406, 354(D) and 506(2) of I.P.C.

2. Though this petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R, it is stated by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent that the investigation is already over and final report has been filed for the offences under Sections 498(A), 494, 406, 354(D) and 506(2) of I.P.C.

3. As the final report had already been filed, quashing the F.I.R does not arise at all. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. It is left open to the petitioner to establish his stand before the Trial Court.
