ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence under Section 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order 1982 r/w 7(i)a(ii) of E.C.Act 1955 in Crime No.175 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 23.11.2021, when the respondent police was interpreted and founded that the petitioners along with other accused have illegally transported 22000 kgs of PDS rice by using lorry without any valid licence.

It is further alleged that A1 and A2 were arrested and the vehicle was also seized and the case was registered as against the petitioners. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

4.The learned Government Advocate has vehemently opposed by stating that the petitioners along with other accused have illegally transported 22000 kgs of PDS rice worth about Rs.6,24,300/- by using lorry without any valid licence .

5. Taking into consideration of the quantity of PDS rice involved in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
