ORDER
This petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent to register a F.I.R. on the basis of the complaint dated 13.11.2015 given by the petitioner.
2.Earlier, the petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Selvakumar on the allegation of cheating with the Inspector of Police, T7, Avadi Tank Factory Police Station, Avadi, Chennai. Whileso, the said Selvakumar came along with some unknown persons who claimed themselves as persons from Viduthalai Siruthaigal Katchi and threatened the petitioner to withdraw the complaint. Hence, the petitioner again gave a complaint on 13.11.2015 to the first respondent and it was forwarded to the second respondent. But, till now no action has been taken. Hence, this petition.
3.When the matter was taken up for consideration today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner may be directed to give a fresh complaint to the jurisdictional police and on receipt of the complaint, the jurisdictional police would take appropriate action. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 5.In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the petitioner to give the copy of the complaint to the jurisdictional police namely, T2 Ambattur Estate Police Station within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the Inspector of Police, T2 Ambattur Estate Police Station, on receipt of the same is directed to conduct enquiry on the same and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.
6.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
