Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to disburse the terminal and other monetary benefits and the entire Family Pension in terms of the compromise decree dated 14.09.2007, as modified on 07.05.2009 and pass appropriate orders, within a time framed fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
The instant writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to disburse the terminal and other monetary benefits and the entire Family Pension in terms of the compromise decree dated 14.09.2007, as modified on 07.05.2009 and pass appropriate orders, within a time framed fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that she has sent a representation dated 14.06.2025 claiming pension for the death of her 2/5
husband Mr.A.Chandran. The said representation dated 14.06.2025 is pending with the respondents.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's case had already been considered by the respondents in the year 2003. However, petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2025 would be disposed of by the respondents within a reasonable time.
5. In such view of the matter, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 14.06.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and accordance with law, within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
