ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to lay Thaar Roads from " Pu.Malaiyanur Village to T.Siruvathur Village", Ulandurpet, Taluk, Kallakurachi District measuring about 3 kms, or based on the proceedings of the 5th respondent in e.f.vz;.m5/2997/2021 25.4.2024 and petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2024.

2. Mr.M.Habeeb Rahman, learned Government Advocate takes notice for all the respondents and on instructions, he submitted that, the village, namely, T.Siruvathur lies on Pu.Malayanur-Parinthal road, which spans a distance of 4.5 k.m. and the project of laying " Pu.Malayanur-Parinthal road" was approved by the government, with sanctioned amount of Rs.510.00 lakhs, as per G.O.Ms.No.97, Highways and Minor Ports [EAP-II (2)] Department, dated 07.08.20204. He further submitted that, the tender process for laying this road is undergoing scrutiny and on completion of the same, the road work will be initiated.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
