Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant Pay Fixation as per Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules 2017 in G.O.Ms.No.303 Finance [Pay Cell] Department dated 11.10.2017 with all arrears and consequential benefits by consider the representation dated 19.05.2023.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant Pay Fixation as per Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules 2017 in G.O.Ms.No.303 Finance [Pay Cell] Department dated 11.10.2017 with all arrears and consequential benefits by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 19.05.2023.

2. The case of the petitioners is that they have been appointed as Sweepers and working under the control of the third and fourth 2/5

respondents. It is their contention that their pay has not been revised in accordance with the 7th Pay Commission Recommendations as enivsaged under Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules 2017 in G.O.Ms.No.303 Finance [Pay Cell] Department dated 11.10.2017. In this regard, the petitioners have given a representation to the respondents on 19.05.2023. But the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3. Considering the limited prayer, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 19.05.2023 and pass Orders on the same taking note of the G.O.Ms.No.303 [Pay Cell] Department dated 11.10.2017 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
