Junior Bailiff/Record Clerk vide proceedings A.No.44/2022 dated 29.04.2022 and A.No.08 /2025 dated 04.01.2025 by the Principal District Judge, Ariyalur, and pass orders on merits and promote the petitoiner to the post of Junior Bailiff/Record Clerk by placing him in the appropriate seniority postition based on his date of initial appointment/regularization, and fix his pay notionally from the date on which his Juniors were promoted, with consequential monetary benefits. ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) The grievance of the petitioner is that some of his juniors have been promoted ahead of him. He has made a representation in this regard on 26.07.2024 and 15.03.2025.

2. Tmt.M.S.Manimagalai, learned Principal District Judge (Full Additional Charge) Ariyalur has responded to the prayer of the petitioner and has stated that his representation is under active consideration and the 2/5

same will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

3. In view of the same, we do not see any necessity to entertain the Writ Petition at this juncture. We however direct the Principal District Judge full Additional charge Ariyalur to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
