ORDER

This petition has been filed for direction to direct the first respondent to take department enquiry as against the second respondent on the complaint lodged by the petitioner herein.

The petitioner is an Advocate. In the year 2013, he lodged complaint as against the judicial officer on the allegation that there has been an abuse of power on the part of the judicial officer backed by the police machinery. In that regard, the petitioner is not able to carry his profession, since the police personnel is disturbing very living in his house. On the said complaint, he was given CSR number and thereafter no investigation was done by the second respondent. Hence, he prayed to grant necessary direction to the respondents.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that after issuance of CSR to the petitioner, detailed enquiry was conduced and the same was closed on 24.12.2017 itself by the second respondent. Therefore, no complaint is pending on the file of the second respondent.

In view of the above submission, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a private complaint in the manner known to law.
