Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the land comprised in S.No.37/14 and 37/16 in Veerachikuppam Village, bearing Patta No.713 to an extent of 14 cents situated at Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, on the basis of petitioner application dated 08.07.2024 and payment made thereon, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey his land comprised in S.Nos.37/14 and 37/16 situated in Veerachikuppam Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, by considering his application dated 08.07.2024.

2. It is seen from the records the petitioner applied for survey of the above mentioned land on 23.08.2021 through application submitted in Challan No.20210823379866 and the said application has not been considered by the respondents. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a fresh application dated 08.07.2024 to the respondents seeking survey of the above mentioned land. The said application has not been considered by the respondents till date. Therefore, the petitioner has come by way of this writ petition.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents would submit that the online application of 2/4

the petitioner dated 23.08.2021 seeking survey of the above mentioned land will be considered by the 1st respondent on its own merit, within the time fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 23.08.2021 and pass final orders on its own merit, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
