By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus
directing the respondent to provide regularisation of petitioner driver post, based on the representation dated 30.04.2016. 3.The petitioner is appointed as a Driver in the Tamil Nadu Telecommunications Limited on contract basis in the year, 2009 and he is working for the past seven years, but his services has not been regularised.
The petitioner in this regard, made several representations and the last of such representation is dated 30.04.2016, but the same has not been considered so far. Hence, this petition.
4.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent.
5.Considering the submissions made on either side and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
