ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to include Section 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act as recommended by Dowry Prohibition Officer and alter the FIR No.1 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that in Crime No.1 of 2016, the 2nd respondent police completed the investigation and filed a final report and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.163 of 2017 on the file of the learned Metopolitan Magistrate-VIII, George Town, Chennai.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
