ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 04.01.2016

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent on 04.01.2016, but the respondent had not taken any steps to register a case and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the accused have cheated so many persons and based on the complaint of one Periyasamy, the respondent has registered a case in Cr.No.37 of 2016. The petitioner, who is one of the complainant will be treated as witness in the case.
