This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.7 of 2024.

The allegation in the complaint is that the petitioner herein by misrepresentation, fraudulently sold the land of Highways department and received the sale consideration. Since the matter is of a grave in nature and under investigation, it cannot be simply adjourned as civil dispute to interfere under Section 528 of BNSS. Hence this Criminal Original Petition to quash the FIR stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner herein to challenge the final report if any filed after investigation. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
