Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records connected with letter No.43230/GPF-I/A2/2003 dated 30.01.2004 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same and further direct the respondents to refund the 60% of the arrears of the pay from 01.01.1996 to 31.03.1998 consequent upon the implementation of the VI Pay Commission, credited in the GPF account to all the employees, pensioners and family pensioners with relevant rate of interest from 01.04.1998 till the disbursement of the said amount.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the letter of the 1st respondent dated 30.01.2004.

2. When the matter was taken up today for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner represented that the 60% of arrears of pay from 01.01.1996 to 31.03.1998 has been disbursed to the petitioner members and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as nothing survives. No costs.
