ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent/police to secure and produce the petitioner's daughter viz., Sangeetha, D/o.Sudhakaran, aged about 19 years, before this Court from the custody of the third respondent and set her at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that her daughter Sangeetha, aged about 19 years, went missing from 24.11.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure him.

Today, G.Parthiban (Mobile No.94981 28203), SubInspector of Police, K-10, Koyambedu Police Station, is present. 4.
On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner a case in Koyambedu Police Station Crime No.1210 of 2021 was registered on 24.11.2021 for 'woman missing' and during the course of investigation, it came to light that the detenue Sangeetha has eloped with Ranjith, third respondent herein, who is a married man, but, separated from his wife and awaiting for divorce.
In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with a direction to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Koyambedu, to supervise the investigation in Koyambedu Police Station Crime No.1210 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenue Sangeetha, aged about 19 years, is secured, she shall be produced before the V Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders with regard to custody in accordance with law.
