PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation letter dated 19.9.2016 filed by the petitioner and further directing the respondents to announce the village election as general category after conducting proper enquiry from the petitioner and the village persons and the officials in accordance with law.

ORDER

Heard both and perused the records.

2. The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.9.2016.

3. Mr.V.Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader submits that the first respondent had already passed orders dated 15.11.2016 on the representation of the petitioner and the decision was also communicated to the petitioner.

4. The order dated 15.11.2016 passed by the first respondent is produced before this Court for perusal.

5. In the light of the subsequent development, the writ petition is dismissed giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 15.11.2016 in a manner known to law. No costs.
