This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and final report in Crime No.109 of 2018. 2..The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the FIR was registered as a woman missing case and that a closure report was filed before the concerned Court as 'Undetected'.

3.In the considered view of this Court, a man missing case can never be closed as undetected and that it is only a stage in the investigation and the respondent police has to necessarily follow the guidelines of this Court in K.Sukumari vs. The Superintendent of Police, Virudhunagar District, Virudhunagar and Others reported in [2018 2 LW Crl 636]. 4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
