This Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking for to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings in Crl. M.P. No.2992 of 2016 in C.C.No.387 of 2014 on the file of the II FTC, Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore and set aside the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the Lower Court has acquitted the petitioner on 15.03.2018 in the case in C.C.No.387 of 2014 on the file of the II FTC, Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore.

3. In view of the acquittal of the petitioner, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
