The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings pending as against the petitioner in Spl.C.C.No.12 of 2022 on the file of the Special Court for Cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Coimbatore.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner after arguing the case, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition. He has also made an endorsement in the case bundle to that effect.
