Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 14.08.2023 given by the petitioners seeking extension of time till 30.09.2023 for making payment under OTS.

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.D.Baskar, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are only requesting to extend the time to deposit the amount as per the OTS. He submits that yesterday, e-auction had taken place.

3. In that event, the petitioners have to challenge the e-auction conducted. The same can be done by the petitioners before the Debts Recovery Tribunal and raise all the grounds available to them before

the Debts Recovery Tribunal.

4. In the light of that, the writ petition is disposed of. The petitioners may assail e-auction as may be permissible under law, before the appropriate forum. In that event, all contentions are kept open. Consequently, W.M.P.No.24498 of 2023 seeking permission to the petitioners to file a single writ petition is allowed and disposed of. (S.V.G., CJ.)
