Side) For Intervener : M/S.J.VANATHI, Advocate PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498A of IPC in Crime No.10 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner/accused and the de facto complainant got married on 29.10.2019 and after marriage, they said to have lived with the father-in-law of the de facto complainant. The petitioner is alleged to have demanded dowry and tortured the de facto complainant and also threatened her with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that anticipatory bail had already been granted to the petitioner herein in Crl.O.P.No.23461 of 2022 by an Order dated 16.12.2021. In the interregnum, by an Order dated 23.12.2021, the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre for amicable settlement. The Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras, in its report dated 17.02.2022 had reported "Mediation Completed. No agreement was reached". Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned counsel for the intervenor vehemently opposed granting anticipatory bail for the petitioner stating that even till date demand for dowry is made by the petitioner.
5. It is seen that this Court already granted anticipatory bail to this petitioner vide Order dated 16.12.2021 and thereafter as directed by this Court by an order dated 23.12.2021, the parties were appeared before the Mediation centre and the medication filed. Hence, the present petition does not required any further order.
