Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action to 1/5
dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2024 submitted with regard to survey the Agriculture land properties of an total extent of Hectares 1.37.0 (Acre 3.38 cents), an extent of one part of Hectares 0.57.0 (Acre 1.40 cents), comprised in R.S.No.195/1, R.S.No.182/2, and R.S.No.183/2, vide Patta No's.537, 17 and 322, situated at Periyakallipatti Village, Sathyamangalam Taluk, Erode District, within Registration District of Gobichettipalayam, and Sub-Registration District of PunjaiPuliampatti, lying with in Bhavanisagar Panchayat Union limit. I have derived the above said property through a Registered Settlement Deed dated 06.12.2023, in document No.8670/2023, and the Rectification Deed dated 28.12.2023, in Document No.9301/2023, and the same was registered at the office of SRO, PunjaiPuliampatti, by making proper sub-division. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider online application dated 02.07.2024 seeking survey of his agricultural 2/5
lands situated in R.S.Nos.195/1, 182/2 and 183/2 at Peyakallipatti Village, Sathyamangalam Taluk, Erode District.
2. According to the petitioner, he got the above mentioned property under a registered settlement deed dated 06.12.2023 executed by his father. The petitioner submitted online application dated 02.07.2024 seeking survey of sub-division of the above mentioned property. The petitioner also paid necessary charges for the same as seen from the e-challan issued on 02.07.2024, enclosed in the typed set of papers. Since the petitioner's online application has not been considered till date, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the online application of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to consider the online application submitted by the petitioner dated 3/5
02.07. 2024 and pass final orders, on its own merits, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
