.. Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2016 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed praying for the issuance of writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2016, which was sent by Speed Post and received by the office of the second respondent, on 26.08.2016, wherein the petitioner seeks for restoration of his old age pension.

2. The petitioner appears to have received the old age pension only for three months and thereafter, the payment has been abruptly stopped. The petitioner was not put on notice nor he was informed, as to why the old age pension was stopped.

3. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2016, conduct the enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of this order along with the copy of the representation and forward the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

same to the second respondent.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
