ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondents police to register a case for the various cognizable offences on the basis of the complaint dated 08.02.2016 against the persons named in the complaint.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint to the first respondent police, as early as on 08.02.2016, but, however, the police had not taken any steps to register a case and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the complaint given by the petitioner has not been received so far and if the petitioner may be directed to give a fresh complaint, the second respondent will be looked into the same.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint to the second respondent and on receipt of the same, the second respondent police is directed to expedite the enquiry and follow the dictum laid down in Lalitha Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC) and register a case, if any cognizable offence is made out.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
