By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.11.2010, claiming to grant appointment on compassionate grounds.

3.The petitioner would state that her husband was an employee in the Labour Office, Kancheepuram (Social Security Scheme), employed as an Assistant and he died on 25.04.2010, while in service leaving behind his wife/the petitioner, two minor daughters and his age old parents and would further state that he was the only bread winner of the family and after his demise, the entire family is under lurch. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 08.11.2010 to the third respondent through proper channel seeking appointment on compassionate grounds. The third respondent sought for certain particulars and the petitioner also complied with the same and the other eligible legal heirs have also given their no objection certificates. The third respondent also vide letter dated 12.10.2011, recommended to the second respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for

appointment on Compassionate grounds under Group D Category. But till date, no orders have been passed. Hence, left with no other alternative, the petitioner has come forward with this petition. 4.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents.

5.Considering the submissions made on either side and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to give a copy of the representation dated 08.11.2010, along with a copy of this order, to the third respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the third respondent on receipt of the same, shall consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. 6.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
