PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Crl.P.C, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No-I, Villupuram to dispose of the C.C.No.690 of 2014 pending trial on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No-I, Villupuram as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated by this Court.

The limited prayer sought for in this present Criminal Original petition is for expediting the trial. It is seen that the proceedings were initiated in the year 2014 and the trial has also commenced.

2.The learned Additional Public Persecutor has submitted that there are 13 witnesses and the case is now posted for examination for Witness No.7.

3.Taking into account the stage of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Villupuram, shall endeavour to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
